Corporate Law
Corporate law and Practice which is narrowly referred to as “Company Law” comprises overall corporate matters, such as the pre-incorporation matters, incorporation of companies, post incorporation matters, rights, removal and appointment of directors and shareholders, memorandum and articles of association, meetings, annual returns, secretarial matters, conversions, winding up and so on.
This is the aspect of law that also covers corporate governance which is the system of rules, practices, and processes by which a company is directed and controlled. It involves the relationships among the company’s management, board of directors, shareholders, and other stakeholders. Corporate governance rules are designed to ensure that companies act in the best interests of their shareholders, and that their decisions are made in a transparent and accountable manner.
This is an area of law where we have garnered experience as a firm both in direct involvement and active partnership with other firms.
